With a fervent passion to make life simpler and things more efficient for people, this FAMU alumna found her calling. Nikkia Finklea, a consistent hard worker, became an entrepreneur at the young age of 9. The initial clientele of her candy stand boutique were the neighborhood kids, but eventually expanded to include her classmates and fellow colleagues over the years.
The skills she learned from this business helped shape the person she has become. Some of the skills that she learned through her boutique were management, organization, and financial responsibility.
These skills were the foundation for services that she’s now offering through her business venture, iKia Management Firm. Prior to, she has worked in other capacities that also lent to the firm foundation that iKia is proudly built upon.
Because she has always been a creative problem solver, she found solace in roles like Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Project Manager...to name a few. From creating itineraries to making travel arrangements, developing business strategies to giving business advice, or prioritizing timelines to creating budgets; she has always done everything in excellence.
She created My Life...Scripted, a Vision book Journal, designed to help one script out the vision for their future and allow them to document their process along the way. She has also designed a creative experience or what she calls, “Journal Parties,” to enlighten an audience on the power of vision. Through this interactive experience, they will construct a blueprint which leads to the erection of their dreams and goals.
Her newest venture is Glitzy Bitz. A retail business, that specializes in accessories touched by glam.
No matter how many accomplishments she’s ascertained thus far, her greatest joy is to help others reach their full potential. She always offers her clients custom experiences. She takes their concepts, formulates strategies, organizes details, simplifies tasks, and executes results that will turn their dreams into realities.
